About

Heli Preflight was created in 2024 by Clay Webster, a Gold Seal Helicopter CFII and Marine Corps veteran, after discovering that many NTSB accidents and incidents could have been prevented with additional knowledge, training, and awareness- often times before the aircraft ever left the ground.

Heli Preflight initially began as a site that provided students with flight training materials, but has grown into a comprehensive archive of resources for pilots of all experience levels - with the ultimate goal of increasing aviation safety.
